Wilford Bowmen host a Record Status shoot in May every year.
The 2026 tournament will be a World Record Status WA 1440 and UK Record Status Archery GB Metric rounds for younger archers on 17th May 2026 and a non record status crossbow round for Archery GB compliant equipment. Greasley Castle Archers have kindly agreed to allow us to use their range and facilities, once again. The entry form is available here Wilford WA1440 17May2026 entry

Our 2015 tournament was a very successful test event for the venue and facilities for the 2016 European Championships to be held at the University’s Highfields Sports Ground, in conjunction with Nottingham City Council and Archery GB. Consequently, for the first time the rounds were Ladies and Gents World Archery 1440 and Metrics.
